You may pass
Listening is full participation. No one is asked to perform their grief.
For those who are grieving
Holding Hope gatherings are confidential, structured, and gentle. You may speak. You may pass. You will not be fixed.

Who is welcome
Infertility
The monthly grief cycle, medical strain, and the ache of waiting — without being rushed toward a tidy ending.
Pregnancy & infant loss
Miscarriage, stillbirth, and early loss named with dignity, including the dates others forget.
Child loss
The before-and-after of a life divided, held without comparison or spiritual shortcuts.
Adoption & foster grief
Attachment, disruption, identity, and the complicated stories churches often don’t know how to carry.
What to expect
Listening is full participation. No one is asked to perform their grief.
Advice, comparison, and spiritual shortcuts are out of bounds.
A 90–120 minute gathering with a clear beginning, middle, and quiet end.
If you need more care, we will help you find it — with dignity, not shame.
The year
01
God’s nearness in pain and hiddenness.
02
Finding community in loss and waiting.
03
Lament, honesty, and naming our stories.
04
Hope that survives uncertainty and unfinished stories.
Pilot chapters
We are in a lean first year — training facilitators and launching three to five church chapters. If there is not yet a gathering near you, we will keep your note and help you find the next door, including a church that may be ready to host.
If you are in immediate danger, call 911. If you are in emotional crisis, the 988 Suicide & Crisis Lifeline is available 24/7.
